Most of life happens outside Sunday morning. Faith IRL is an eight-session conversation about the work that fills our weeks—paid and unpaid, satisfying and frustrating, visible and unseen. Drawing on Pastor Bill’s Faith IRL series, Scripture, and the wisdom of our own experiences, we’ll explore why work matters, what sin does to it, how to discern calling, what faithful presence looks like, and why learning to stop may be one of our most important acts of trust. No perfect job—or workplace expertise—required.

Subject: New small group series: Faith IRL Hi Small Group Leaders, This season, Cascade groups are invited into Faith IRL, an eight-session conversation about how the gospel reshapes the work that fills our weeks—paid and unpaid, satisfying and frustrating, visible and unseen. The series builds on Pastor Bill’s Faith IRL sermons without simply repeating them. Each gathering reads Scripture, uses a short video, opens a carefully sequenced discussion, and ends with a practical response and prayer focus. The essential path takes 30 minutes, with optional questions for groups that have up to 45 minutes. You do not need to teach or be a workplace expert. The interactive leader guide supplies setup language, timing, Scripture references, videos and backup links, questions, pastoral cautions, and optional material. Your role is to make room for honest, Scripture-shaped conversation. Before your first gathering, please read the Leader Guide, preview Session 1, and test the video on the device you plan to use. Please also identify the pastor or ministry leader you would contact if a conversation reveals a need for care beyond the group. Each time we meet, we’ll read a short passage of Scripture, watch a brief clip from Pastor Bill’s Faith IRL series, discuss what it means in real life, and choose one small practice to try. This is a conversation, not a class, and no workplace expertise or advance homework is required. You may always pass on a question, and you will never be pressured to share private workplace details.
